*** STWingCS SecureCRT HOWTO *** INTRODUCTION The purpose os this HOWTO is to show you how to setup and use the SecureCRT SSH client to connect to STWingCS servers. REQUIREMENTS Desktop PC running Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP SETUP 1. Download the SecureCRT SSH client from: http://www.upenn.edu/computing/product/net/securecrt.html *NOTE: you must have a valid PennKey to download from this site. (ie. must be a University of Pennsylvania student or employee). 2. run the SecureCRT installer and install the product. USAGE Click on the SecureCRT icon on your desktop on in your start menu. In the connect dialog, click on "force.stwing.upenn.edu". Then click on "Accept and Save" in the hostkey dialog and enter your username and password when prompted. NOTE: the hostkey dialog will not appear after the first time you connect to "force.stwing.upenn.edu". ADDITIONAL INFORMATION As of the 2002 release of SecureCRT by ISC, the STWingCS server settings are included in the default distribution.
