Hey guys! I'm currently a junior computer science major living on STWing. When I'm not on the floor, you'll probably see me on the job at the front desk of the dorm ready to lend out keys or signin guests. Back when I was trying to choose my housing for freshman year, I remember I was unsure of how much I would like life on STWing. Now I couldn't love it more. The sense of community here is amazing. The upperclassmen are all very knowledgeable, approachable, and friendly. Our local Wonder Woman and Superman (i.e. our RAs Jason and Karuna) are awesome and will be sticking around on the floor next year.

STWing events range from midnight movie releases to weekend outings for dim sum to Diablo LAN parties. Only on STWing will you find people installing Linux onto Ipods, holding impromptu programming sessions in the TV lounge, or hacking the Wii to modify Super Smash Brothers Brawl. However, don't think that STWing is just for engineering students. You don't need to be a master at physics or a computer whiz to take part in all the fun and crazy projects STWing undertakes such as our yearly Rube Goldberg competition. And if you'd like to learn more about that kind of stuff, there's no better community than STWing to teach you.
