Hello everyone! I'm Leora, and I am currently a freshman in CBE (chemical and biomolecular engineering for those of you who do not know the acronyms yet). Like the other people on this list, I am a member of the STWING continuum. I am what you could call a study-oholic, although I do really love to do other things as well! When I first got to Penn, I did not actually apply to be on STWING; I was placed here because I handed in my housing application late. However, I must admit that this "chance" event was really good for me. I have truly enjoyed the warm and friendly environment that we have here on STWING, and have grown to love the interesting little things that make us special. I understand that the concept of a floor that is committed to science and technology can be a little intimidating. In fact, originally, I was strongly against the idea of living with only people in the sciences like myself. However, when I arrived and began classes, I realized that having such a large group of people that are always around you, in your major, helps you to fully embrace life in the sciences, not to mention helping your grades!
