In my opinion, it's not so much the science and technology that makes STWing great, but it's the people and the environment. You can choose to take advantage of the intellectual aspects, like getting homework help from upperclassmen down the hall or involving yourself in projects.

On the other hand, you can take STWing for its social value and participate in the paintball trips and other more spontaneous events like going to New York. I have no regrets about being a part of STWing, and I encourage everyone to at least look into the program.
