The SEPTA management team listed above will take care of all of the scientific and equipmental aspects of the project, overseeing the work through the extended design phase, the construction phase, testing and certification, and also throughout the beginning of the cruise phase. This last phase will last two years, until the craft is well on it’s way, at which point the AI will take over control of the mission, according to the pre programmed mission parameters.
The OMPI will be in total control and is ultimately responsible for the entire project. The SPI and the SSI are responsible for the design, development, construction and operations portions of the project, although they report to the OMPI.  The Chief Astrogator and Liason to Mission Control is responsible for the calculations and navigational aspects of the mission, as well as for the eventual organization of the data received via mission control. The press liason officer is responsible for the release of information to the public, as well as the dealings with the senate, in order to secure funds, etc. The HAA is responsible for the analysis of the eventual data that will be received from the mission.
The team will be put in cryogenic freeze until 38 years after the initial start of the mission, in order to receive and process the information.
