Chambers of Commerce Release a Comman Declaration
The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Turkish Cypriot of Commerce believe that:
1. The leaders of the two communities should negotiate on the basis of the UN plan and achieve a just functional solution of the Cyprus problem.
2. The solution of the Cyprus problem will bring closer the two communities and the prospects for the Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots will be tremendous, benefiting all of us, by bringing peace and prospertiy.
3. Ýt is our conviction that if a reunited Cyprus joins the EU immediately after a solution Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots will be able to work together effectively within these wider context.
