Isolations --> No Solution ; Says Talat
The favorite new buzzword "isolations". CTP decided term "embargos" did not fit so well (and it does not), so they decided to use "isolations". Makes more sense. But they also inflated it to the point where an outside observer could think that we are talking about post Gulf War I Iraq which is total nonsense. In an interview he announces that unless isolations are lifted, there would be a no solution to the Cyprus problem which reminds me of Denktash's threats; "unless TRNC is recognized there would be no solution" whose logical consequence was to announced that "the state of no-solution is the solution". I wonder when Talat will reach that point -- don't say "never", because his chameleon attitude to politics is quite apparent. Ultimately his reasoning is that the lifting of the "isolations" (which pretty much amounts to international recognition of most of the relevant institutions of TRNC except from a full recognition) would *force* Greek Cypriots to accept an Annan-plan-like solution. So much for his "I am the peace-maker, I will negotiate , I will solve this problem" proclaimations.Original quote from Yeniduzen: http://www.yeniduzengazetesi.com/index.php/cat/1/news/8900/PageName/Haberler
