The accompanying website www.whymisterwhy.com is intriguing to read. Van Kesteren's local contacts and extensive knowledge of the country and the culture of Iraq have provided him with a unique opportunity to show the 2003-2004 war from both the side of the Allied forces (as an embedded photographer) and the side of the common people.
