Entry: I went here with Amy. It's an all-you-can-eat Japanese theme place. This is the place that Ms. Ho's friend owns. Overall it is a good quality all-you-can-eat place. As you can see from the pictures, the quality of the sushi is above average but not stellar. What separates them apart is they make the rolls standard size rather than overstuffing with rice (like most all-you-can-eat places).
Like almost all the Japanese restaurants here on the west coast, the interior is modern/comtempary. Not stellar or interesting though.

Entry: Carina and I went here. It's one of the better restaurants in Sacramento. Overall their food comes closest to Sushi King/Sono/Ya. Their tempura is usually pretty crispy and not too oily, but not always. They offer very large specialty rolls and even offer bluefin tuna on ocassion. It's the only place thus far that I know of which offers blue fin in Sacramento.
They have pocket menus which I found very interesting. I scanned in pictures of it. I saw a lot of people use those menus for carry-out orders. Overall their presentation and implementation is very good.
- Sushi King Pictures
Entry: Carina and I went here. It's the same name as Dad's original. Their rolls are pretty interesting and usually pretty decent. We didn't like their rainbow roll though because they put all crab meat inside instead of cucumber and crab meat. This made both are stomaches a little full, and we felt a little mayo-ed out from all the fake crab meat. The decor has changed a little as they use to use real flowers in the restaurant. Now it's all fake :-(.

Entry: Amy, Care, and I went to this place in Sunnyvale (Bay Area). It's a traditional Japanese restaurant. There roll selection is very very limited (maybe 6 items). They are also expensive. $20 for the sushi/sashimi combo. You receive 2 tuna, 2 yellow, 2 salmon, and 3 pieces of nigiri. It's about 3 pieces and one roll too short for a full meal. It's also $2 too much! The quality of the fish was good though. Surprisingly I found the tuna to be tasteless. The yellowtail and salmon were good though.
The cooked foods were disappointingly bad. They had absolutely no taste. Very bland soup and steak. The wafu steak was overdone, hard, and dry. I didn't take a picture of it.
