Spring 2000 Pictures

These are of the first pictures I took on my new camera, which I got for Christmas in 1999. These pictures are from the spring of my first semester in College.

This was my dorm freshman year, Hill House.

This was my tiny but great room in Hill House. The photo on the left is of the entrance to our room. Diana's desk is on the left, and mine is on the right. The photo on the right is of back of the room. My bed is the one on the bottom, and yes, we blocked the window with our beds, but it wasn't much of a window in the first place!

This is my music theory class. We had a great time in that class, so it was worth it to take a picture for remembrance.

This is me "rock climing" at spring fling.

This is a picture of some of the band at spring fling selling really yummy grilled cheese out of a laundry room in the quad. Christina is in the upper corner, Jen is next to me, TOJ has the weird psycho look, and Everett is in the back with his mouth full of grilled cheese.

This is another picture at fling of Jeff, Shweta and me. Thank Shweta for both of these pictures since they were taken with her camera!

Hey Day is this really odd tradition where the juniors get drunk, carry around canes hitting people, wear styrafoam hats and bite them, and then become seniors at the end of the day. Of course this is also a band event. The band leads these people all over campus, and the drummers cadence like mad. This is them in front of College Hall awaiting the President Rodin's speech.

Khadijeh is very surprised by what she sees on those cards. If you want to know why, sorry, it's confidential.

This is Ryan, Katie, Nick, and Al at A702 for "the end of the year" band party.

At that same band party, this is a picture of Nicole and me. Nicole is a geezer (graduated '99) sax in the band.

Shweta, my favorite drummer, and me on the Yale football roadtrip for band. I was wearing those pants because it was halloween.

Nick and Anthony are totally psycho.

The Suite Dinner

My suite and two other Hill House suites went out to dinner after classes were over at The Victor Cafe, which is an excellent Italian restaurant. The food was amazing, both for dinner and dessert. Plus, we had entertainment! All of the waiters sang arias. Moreover, Hill House picked up the entire tab...it was free for us!
Since this was one of the last times we'd all see each others, we all took lots of pictures, and people got dressed up, too.

This was our table. No, Jeff's not in my suite, but he got invited anyway. The other people are Laura and Zach.
