Spring 2001 Picutres

This was a great semester of mine despite the fact...or maybe because of the fact that it was the hardest academically, with computer science (cse121) and research experiments in cognitive science, as well as three other classes...and writing that term paper for genh210 at the end of it all. But for some reason or another, I look back on this semester fondly. And there are a lot of good pictures to prove it. (Though some of them are on the Non-Penn pictures page.)
Naomi's party! At the start of the Spring 2001 semester, I had a great night. Two parties! I started around 10 and didn't go to bed until after 5...and then of course I had to be somewhere at 10:15 the next day! It was fun, though.
Anyway, this was installation #2: Naomi's party. This is Sarah, Naomi and me in Naomi's apartment.
Saxes Party #1: the annual "end of the year" party for band. It was also the same night as the sax initation that year. This is them, including the new initates, arriving at the party.
Mayuko and me with the fulte award At the same party, awards are given out. This year the drumline swept. Everett, both Lauras, Michelle, Shweta, William and I all got awards. Kellen even got an award! Unfortunately, none of those pictures came out well. This is a picture of me with Mayuko, who's holding the flute "show me how to get down" award, because at universal studios, I got down with the flutes during "Hey Baby." I'm an honorary flute now.
Elizabeth and her sister One night in winter some of us went ice skating. Cameras weren't allowed on the ice, but we didn't find this out until I had snapped the following two photos. This is of Elizabeth and her sister Jen, in matching jackets.

Indian music concert I went to an Indian music concert with Shweta and some other band kids. This is a picture of us with the tabla player, Zakir Hussain. I loved this concert!
