Soundworks 2002-2003

This year, soundworks got six new members to replace those that graduated. The group improved even more from the previous year under the leadership of Andrea Alexander, culminating with a show in the Iron Gate theater at the end of February. Other performances included the annual Emily Sachs benefit, and and fall guest performances with the Inspiration and African Rhythms. Strangely enough, our director Andrea isn't in a single one of these pictures...hopefully I'll do something about that later.

This was everyone who performed in the African Rhythms show. Everyone but Jess is wearing their costume from the Opening dance.

After our fall shows, I congratulated everyone by throwing a party. This is the group of us that attended.

After the big spring show, we had a party in my apartment. Naomi and I made up humorous awards for everyone in the group.

Tabla Class

During my senior year, I took a two semesters of tabla, which is an Indian drum. At the end of both semseters, the final exam was a performance. These pictures are from both semester end concerts.
